It is possible for your dog to get cold if the weather is colder than 45 degrees. It is best if you take your dog inside in such conditions. Dogs can’t sweat, and as a result, they can be easily chilled.
If you are not sure if your dog needs clothes, take him or her to the vet or a local groomer to be checked. They can give dogs wear you a recommendation about how much clothing your dog will need.
Be sure to dress your dog in layers. You will also want to make sure that your dog does not wear a hooded sweatshirt or jacket. Hooded clothing will block air flow to your dog’s face, causing him or her to become overheated. You don’t want your dog to get chilled or overheat while playing outside.
